5th WTA–Concrete Colloquium

Latest discoveries in concrete remediation

Realization of new reinforced concrete structures is the common goal of builders, designers and contractors of new buildings. In order to ensure this goal in the long term, a corresponding maintenance effort is required for existing buildings. In addition to know-ledge of materials and their use in constructions, as well as experience with their planning and monitoring, it is essential to ensure their maintenance and flawless planning accor-ding to existing standards and regulations.

For historical buildings, standard procedures can often not be applied without restrictions for monument preservation reasons. For this reason, in addition to the early integration of historical monuments preservation, intensive coordination between those responsible at each stage of the project is required. That is why the Colloquium should offer answers and solutions to the owners of listed buildings, employees from planning and engineering offices, construction companies and manufacturing plants, experts, architects and repre-sentatives of authorities in accordance to the latest discoveries in concrete remediation.

On behalf of the organizing team and the members of WTA - International (TC5 Concrete), we cordially invite you to the 5th Colloquium WTA - Maintenance of Concrete Buildings and we are looking forward to meeting you in Brno.
